GUNS N' ROSES Film Video For First Single Off 'Chinese Democracy'
October 14, 2002GUNS N' ROSES were in Shanghai, China last week filming the video for the first single off their long-awaited album, Chinese Democracy. The clip is believed to be for the track "Catcher In The Rye", which is rumored to be going to radio at the end of November.
Chinese Democracy will reportedly contain 18 tracks, including three of the four new songs aired during the band's recent live performances — "Madagascar", "Chinese Democracy" and "The Blues". The latter cut is also said to have been tentatively tapped as the album's second single, to be released sometime in early 2003.
No official release date has yet been announced for Chinese Democracy, but unconfirmed reports suggest that December 3rd or 10th are being thrown around as the most likely possibilities, with the European release set to take place one day earlier.
GUNS N' ROSES will kick off a North American tour on November 7th in Vancouver, British Columbia.
